We are hosting a table at the OCBF Spring Fest and Health Fair. Each year OCBF hosts an annual health fair that is open to the community. Festivities will include: bounce houses, train rides, a petting zoo, arts & crafts, a 'high noon' Easter egg hunt, health tips and much more for the whole family. Come learn more about sickle cell and how you can be involved in touching lives and increasing sickle cell awareness.

IBU ("I Broke Up") Wear, a new apparel line derived from the life of Linda Sikes-Alexander, who passed away on January 23, 20011 from complications of sickle cell disease, will host a photo shoot introducing its inspirational apparel to the world. The photo shoot will honor the legacy of the "fashionista", also known as "Mama Linda", who encouraged others to look and be their best. The photo shoot will raise awareness of sickle cell disease, and IBU Wear is donating a percentage of their proceeds to the Otis Uduebor Sickle Cell Foundation to accomplish this mission. December 2011A Special Christmas Celebration
The Otis Uduebor Sickle Cell Foundation wants to invite you to support "A Special Christmas Celebration," an annual Christmas party benefiting sickle cell children from Children's Medical Center in Dallas. The event is hosted by Parents with a Cause for Sickle Cell, and gifts will be given to sickle cell children. Volunteers are needed from 2 PM - 9:30 PM to assist with organizing and distributing toys, serving food, assisting the photographer and playing Christmas characters. Donations of unwrapped toys for boys and girls ages 13-18 are also needed. Please contact Johanna R.
