September is National Sickle Cell Awareness Month! On September 21, 1983, President Ronald Reagan delivered Proclamation 5102, proclaiming the month of September as "National Sickle-Cell Anemia Awareness Month" and inviting "all Americans to join...in reaffirming our [Nationís] commitment to reduce the burden of illness, disability, and premature death imposed by this disease." Make a difference now by giving a donation, joining our volunteer team, and helping to spread the word about our organization! Join us on Facebook and share our website with family and friends:
